About us

For Humans starts from a simple observation: technology has reached every corner of everyone’s life, but the people who explain it almost always write for those who already understand it. The result is that millions of people use phones, apps, online banking and AI assistants every day without anyone ever having calmly explained how they work and how to feel safe with them.

We do the opposite. The problem isn’t you, it’s the jargon. Every article starts from a question anyone might ask, explains the hard words in a separate box and walks you through it step by step, with your phone or computer in front of you.

The four sections

Tech for Humans covers phones, computers, apps and everyday services: how to use them better, how to fix problems, what to buy and what to skip. Cyber for Humans is digital security explained from scratch: passwords, scams, backups, privacy. AI for Humans tells the story of artificial intelligence without the science fiction: what it really is, how to use it and when not to trust it. But what is it for? takes something everyone is talking about and answers the question nobody asks: does a normal person actually need it?

Our rules

Zero prerequisites: if you can turn on a phone, you know enough. Hard words always explained. One step at a time, with the exact menu names to tap. Time and what you need listed at the top of every article. Sources at the bottom, with links. When we get something wrong, we correct it and say so. Sponsored content, if there ever is any, is labelled as such; we don’t accept payment for reviews or opinions.

Who is behind it

For Humans (in Italian: Per Umani) is an independent editorial project run by Andrea Bissi from Italy, published in Italian and English.
